ZAP Montérégie is a non-profit community group dedicated to provide free wireless internet access to the public.

The transition to « ZAP Montérégie » is now completed
Posted on May 7, 2010 No commentsAs anticipated in our previous articles, the transition from « Montérégie sans fil » to « ZAP Montérégie » is completed. The acronym « ZAP » stands for Zone d’Accès Public (hotspot).
Our logo is :
User names and passwords are unchanged.
Our WEB site is now www.zapmonteregie.org. Amongst others, you will find the following links:
- « Hotspots Map ». You will be able to locate our 50 hotspots; this number is constantly increasing.
- « Signup ». This can be done either on the internet or at any hotspot.
- « How to become a hotspot ». You can download a presentation which describes our service, our organization and the advantages of becoming a hotspot.
- « How to become a user ». A pamphlet describing the procedure to open a free account is available and can be downloaded.
If you know people or organizations who could be interested in providing a hotspot, please make them aware of our service and give them the address of our WEB site.
